IIRC the RMN has a good number of Exocets. In the grand scope of things, is it so costly to install a few on the Kedah-class? A ship only needs 8 missiles anyway (assuming the on-board FCS can already support them). confused.gif

Exactly the race we are talking about.

At the moment, there is no immediate scenario for confrontation in the region, so arming the ships will just incur a higher running cost (possibly reducing available budget in the future) without a immediate need. If there is a need, it would not take long anyway to do the fittings.

Different story if you think having those ships is a mistake in the first place.
