Meh, the wiring could according to nsm requirements not necessarily follow china standard.
Anyway are those wired so hard to tukar in the future?
Iirc there were 1 thai navy ship have to rewired the entire ship.laugh.gif
*
4 instead of 6 for first batch
I still remember the original deal is 2+4 and the whole ship going to be 18 with all are ships have fit to mission
setting. So maybe the weapon setting will be vary by batch by default

QUOTE(KLboy92 @ Nov 8 2016, 01:22 AM)
Same as Kedah brows.gif
Kesian we are basically losing the FAC(M)s though. Unless they decide to arm Kedah.

RT, Sputnik, Southfront, couple of others, have to take with big spoon of salt

Then again WIB, Popular Mechanics and even Biz Insider too brows.gif

Kedah are not FAC, bukan laju pun tuk jadi FAC

Dengar kata samudera class tu we did not buy the ip.
Some say the lms deal  wee also same did not include ip. hmm.gif

Samudera suppose to be an easy assemble project until that unprecedented thing happened

QUOTE(KLboy92 @ Nov 8 2016, 10:43 AM)
I meant we are now losing FAC(M) and replacing with non-missile armed LMS
Laksamana missiles also long decom already
No. of platforms capable of firing SSMs semakin berkurang

Should we finally get round to arming Kedah?
Samudera pretty sure we got IP
LMS no IP (yet)
*
non missile LMS
dude, get the grab on the term "fit to mission"

QUOTE(KLboy92 @ Nov 8 2016, 11:28 AM)
I'm not complaining about LMS specifically, they shouldn't be launching SSMs anyway, should be focusing on their utility jobs - MCM, hydrographic survey, patrol, HADR, etc. are all important tasks as well

Now we are getting LMS to take over patrol jobs, but SSM-armed ships have reduced in number. Hence why I said, should Kedah finally be armed?

Yeah, I heard "fit to mission", I also heard "fitted for but not with" rolleyes.gif brows.gif I am interested to know how TLDM intends to employ these containerised systems. I'm guessing that if the LMS get sent on patrol sorties then they can leave the MCM etc gear behind.

fit to mission senang je, tengok kedah class cukup la
if needed they can be armed to specific type of weapon with just a visit to the dock
no need extensive downtime as all are plug and play

Ex Semangat Bersatu

Soldiers from 1st Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment (1 SIR) and the Malaysian Army's 5th Royal Malay Regiment (5 RMR) concluded the bilateral exercise codenamed Semangat Bersatu.
Semangat Bersatu, which means 'Unity in Spirit', serves as an excellent platform to strengthen military ties between the two nations through operating outfield together as well as professional exchanges.

Through the professional exchanges and outfield exercise, the soldiers from both armies displayed 'unity in spirit' and professionalism. Exercise Semangat Bersatu was conducted in Kluang, Johor. (sekali saw kids in saf uniform playing paintball  brows.gif )

First conducted in 1989, Exercise Semangat Bersatu serves as an important and valuable platform for professional exchanges and soldiers interaction between the SAF and the MAF. As part of the training, Soldiers from both countries were introduced to each other's weapon systems.

Minimal number of crew? Wiki says current full complement is 78 (as an OPV), if full missile weapons systems the number of crew will be 98.
*
correct min number of crew needed to fully operate the Kedah is 30 personnel.
the tacticos system is very modern and complicated and yet very modular
