QUOTE(Frozen_Sun @ Nov 13 2016, 11:40 AM) None stuck...5 engines broken out of 20 tanks, due to extreme operations in difficult terrain. It's a torture test by TNI-AD to find the limit of Leopard 2 in a remote island. Not a big problem in my opinion. Even if Leopard 2 is restricted to roads, there are more than enough space in Indonesia. QUOTE Engine problems. Engineers replaced the engine with new one in just 5 hours. Anyway Rheinmetall is currently conducting combat performance of the Leopard 2RI MBTs.
Leopard 2RI MBTs live firing in Natuna. Credit to Dispenad. Right..so there was a problem.. 5 hrs to replace new engine..wow..is that normal duration to replace an engine for leo 2? This post has been edited by periuk_api1209: Nov 13 2016, 12:34 PM

QUOTE(pcboss00 @ Nov 13 2016, 01:07 PM) dunno 5 hours per engine or 5 hours for all 5 tanks which means 1 hour per tank, since only one tank recovery spotted. can only take 35 minutes as claimed in wiki. but still impressive. Info that i got it was average 5 hrs per incident..and it occur on different time..1 happen during early stage of exs..and others happen few days later during manuvers..

QUOTE(Fat & Fluffy @ Nov 14 2016, 03:08 PM) inb4 bukak new paintball park Used 'SAF' camouflage uniforms found among smuggled goods seized by Indonesian Navy in Batam The Indonesian Navy on Wednesday (Nov 9) seized a truckload of used camouflage uniforms with SAF, or Singapore Armed Forces, tags on them.
The SAF attire included the green digital or pixelated camouflage uniforms first issued in 2008, as well as an older version with overlapping splotches of black, brown and green, both commonly referred to by servicemen as the No. 4 dress.Tanjung Pinang Naval Base commander, First Admiral S Irawan said a quick response team from Indonesia's Western fleet had spotted a vessel on Wednesday, unloading goods near Pulau Galang, an island located 40km southeast of Batam. He told The Straits Times on Thursday that there were a total of 19 truckloads of smuggled goods ranging from used electronic equipment, such as television sets and washing machines. One among the 19 trucks carried only military attire, including combat boots, that he believed were SAF-issued items.
The admiral said the Navy has yet to determine the alleged owner of the goods but the boat captain and truck drivers are now being held for questioning in Tanjung Pinang. "The question now is why that much military attire is being sent to Batam...we will investigate," said the admiral. The unauthorised sale of SAF uniforms or equipment is an offence under military law in Singapore. Those guilty of misappropriation or theft of SAF property can be jailed for up to three years.http://www.stomp.com.sg/singapore-seen/sin...d-by#xtor=CS1-2jual bundle kot..hehehe

QUOTE(Fat & Fluffy @ Nov 15 2016, 04:54 PM) well, for females am sure most have valid reasons... n males whatever reason wont help.. there's a few exceptions though but i wont share here hmm, then i wonder why those that commit acts of terrorism / joining ISIS dont get same treatment... kan IS member kena tangkap once cfm or arrived kat airport...IS got more harsh treatment..why need same treatment? serving SG = serving IS?
