fuel filter.
last time when idling for 5 mins, press pedal, engine stall. restart ok. then change fuel filter, it never happen again..

regarding fuel filter as per below, what is yout current mileage?
when last time change :
spark plug?
fuel filter?

I bought this Proton FL SE 1.6 car because due to financial constrain, I thought it was a cheaper option. But every time I bring that car to servicing or fixing, the bill is never cheap. Can't tell if it's the car quality problem or workshop problem.

Anyway. I want to ask if there is any owners of Proton FL SE 1.6 here? My car has sound from the rear when I brake, so I brought it for fixing. They tell me it's caused by the bearing, and it costs 3k to fix it because it is built-in and I have to change the whole set. Anyone has the same experience? Can verify if this is true or not?

I am having trust issues now with this Proton Service Centre coz in these 6 months alone, I have already spent close to 5k to fix stuff. Every time I sent it for minor fixing, something major comes up. If I need to spend 8k in just 6 months to fix it, I might as well buy a new car.

Can do it outside, use TRW new part steering rack. equally good, prolly the same vendor.
Do u change your power steering fluid regularly ?
my factory rack last me around 240-250k km iinm.. change to new trw rack, drive till 350k+ km b4 i sold it without any issue.
repair rack may not last long (normally change those oil seal//ring) , halfcut too; depends on luck..
i change it in 2018, rack - 850, labour - 180, foreman supplied price. nw price shud abit higher.

Guys, im thinking about selling my Saga FLX Exec 1.3 CVT, 2012 model.

I dont want to deal with mudah, carousell, fb marketplace etc.  i dont think worth it for sub 10k price.

Anybody have experience selling it at carro, mytukar, carsome and the likes?  Which is recommended for old car?
