hi guys just wanna get some info since im not a car guy. I got Saga flx SV manual in end of 2013 and now it is about 80 000 km in mileage.

So far i've replaced the battery and do normal service(engine oil/oil filter change) every 5k to 7k.

But after some more reading i find out that there are things that i need to change but i didnt.

The car works but produce several noises which i have no idea what cause it. So here i make list of things that i should change immediately to prevent breakdown.

1) Spark Plug ( I change once when my car is around 40k)
2) Timing Belt & FEAD? (no idea what FEAD is)
3) Fuel Filter
4) Brake Fluid
5) Power Steering Fluid
6) Radiator Coolant
7) Aircond Belt + air cond compressor oil?
8) Alternator Belt

What is the price range for all this and am i missing something that could cause my car to breakdown. Pls advice

rear brake pump 90 for 2 pcs? dang my usual workshop said 90 per piece. i not sure if the whole thing or just that piece.

on an unrelated note, does anyone know where i can change my absorber? KL-Maluri-pandan area. my usual one said price is 210 per piece for front and 150 per piece for back. i think this is a bit expensive.

If I recall correctly, front pair RM375...rear pair RM275.....haven't inclusive labour

Hi all, need some advice. my saga got 120k km already. i usually change engine oil on time. the usual stuff. but recently got pomen said some parts are starting to degrade and need to change. I dont really mind if parts need to change, but seeing as i got only 1 car for transport and use it regularly, is there like a parts checklist that may need to change after u use them for 120k km?

please refer page 1. it depends o your last service
please tell use your last service details :
please state your car model - saga flx sv manual
Engine oil - 119km usually guna castrol semi synthetic
Oil filter - this i think changed when it is 112km++ dont exactly remember but fairly recent
GB oil - errr. i last change this in 2016 or 2017 dont remember.
Air filter - change new one at 112km+ also
fuel filter - never change. or maybe change once. dont exactly remember.
Timing belt - this i change at 80k km
FEAD belt - this i think change together with timing belt? if not then do i need to change them asap?
coolant - err, engine coolant? zzzz
Power steering fluid - this also change 119km
*
I hope i understand everything correctly. looking from page 1, things that i did not change at all or probably once or twice
a/c blower filter
a/c compressor oil

battery i change once every 1.5 years. things like wiper, headlamp n stuff all change when got problem.

coolant = radiator coolant.

FEAD belt is aircond belt, usually change when its due to, like crack. usually FEAD belt change earlier that timing belt. inspect first then only decide change or not

fuel filter usually change every 60K mileage.

aircond blower filter is mesh type, no need to change, just wash it. uness the filter rosak unable to filter, only then change.

so there you have it, what you haven't change, go change.
btw, usually owners neglect the most is servicing aircond (including changing compressor oil)
*
if blower filter is that mesh thing, i think every time i service the pomen check and use that air spray thingy to clean.

things that i need to check now will be fuel filter and FEAD belt. probably GB oil too. For aircond service including that compressor oil change is usually how much?

Change your shock absorbers, if you haven't changed already.

It is advisable to change your shock absorbers at 120k km intervals (normal tarmac road driving) as a form of preventive maintenance.
*
uuu. shock absorber is that straight thing located near the tyre right. how much does it cost though.
