Do i need to send my car back to proton service center or the normal ah wong car service center can do fix ?

hello saga owners.
my dad saga of 7 years recently having issue where by the aircon is cool during night and morning but unable to cool during day time (hot weather). is this issue about need to refill the aircon gas ? or there is part failure somewhere in the car aircon system ?
