Mileage is about 140k

Al Isra said need to change the whole cooling system …well they gave three options one is to change all as said the whole system failed..second is compressor and motor and third is half cut…for half cut compressor it’s 1 k but they can’t even provide warranty for up to 2 weeks so I thought it might be better to sell without fixing …

What did you do to your car?

Just get a halfcut fix for RM1k only then can continue to use the car loh.

Sold it off in d end as I actually booked a new car earlier before the air cond issues and was contemplating shud I fix it before selling as the reselling seemed low but I guess probably that’s market value if I dun wanna go tru the hassle of selling it myself

Planning to get a secondhand car for city driving (to/from work) and saw 2014 fiesta listed for 22k-24k. Hows overall performance for fiesta? Any pro & cons should I know?

Pro: fun car, bought it on 2013, irrc it is the only car that has VSC, nice looking
Cons: expensive parts

Recently just got my car fixed at BUG Auto:
TCM - claimed from Ford SC (10years warranty), took me around 5months to wait for stock, can be found in shopee, around RM1.8 to RM2k
ABS module(recon) - RM2.2k
Clutch set - RM5.9k
Engine mounting - RM1.6k (ori, oem is about 40% cheaper)
Stuffs above got quoted for RM20k by Ford SC, these stuffs are common problem. my car is close to 170k mileage.
My ABS module failed around 160k. BUG told me he suspects it was my battery current was unstable and the current spikes that damage the TCM, followed by the clutch.

Some price list I found on fiesta FB group (Ford SC price list)
1) timing belt - rm2k ++
2) water pump - rm1k ++
3) radiator fan - rm1300++
4) water hose/pipe - rm900++
5) auxiliary or v belt - rm600++
6) rocker gasket - rm300++
7) engine mounting - rm1000++
8 ) alternator - rm2000++
9) abs module sensor - rm7000 ++

Send to trusted workshop for major service. They will tell you what need to be replaced

- timing & auxillary belt
- water pump
- thermostat
- all the hose

They may also suggest replacing other parts such as mountings to improve ride quality.

Hi everyone, would like to know if anyone experienced jerking gear changes, brought to SC - they said the code showed clutch actuator problem, quoted rm2700 per unit. And there are 2 of them, oh man. TCM is still ok (replaced under warranty last time). Model is Fiesta 2012, mileage 200k.

Hello all, my window refuse to close. Need to press a few times before I will close fully. Otherwise I will open back after half way up. Any idea where to check what’s wrong. I tried asking Ford SC they say need to change the whole panel which might cost thousand.

Last time I encountered this, it was due to faulty fan motor or alternator. Bring to any car aircond shop they should be able to fix, or just go back to Al Isra or BUG...
