illegear s7 offer much better than rog..... with ic diamond thermal paste than unknown thermal paste usage by asus rog... 1070 > 1060. if u able to wait until mid or end, there is new lineup. maybe there is notebook will caught your eyes.

Tbh illegear quite hot after the IC diamond dried up in the older gen... Pascal had promise us much more lower heat...

Interesting to know how the heat profile after 1yr...

Their logo paint on chassis fade away easier, cost u rm 185 to repaint, what a joke

i once read there is an article.... its about AW or which notebook, can change gpu. i forgot... tis mxm type card.... for example, currently he/she using gtx680m... can upgrade to gtx780m.. something similar slot... did i read at oscar fb or what... i just forgot.. we did discuss this a lot few yrs back

M17x, aw17 r1 those can replace GPU due to mxm slot.. new aw all soldered... Took me 1yr to move out from no mxm slot...haha.. grieving..

so, new series except 18" is all soldered?
