It is average 6.5 .. so basically your results does not need all band to be 6.5 n above... 6.5 6.5 6.5  6.0 pass as well unlike aussie u need all 7.0 minimum

if you can prove your english prof level you may not required to take ielts . i.e working in mnc and daily comm with aussie uk or nz clients..

but of course depends whether the nz authorities support your evidence.. there are some cases after interview they want you to sit for ielts
