I've been researched regarding the topic I have mentioned in my title above, my concern is do we really need a skill in demand in order to migrate to New Zealand? I know that they are implemented the point system, which you are allowed to apply PR when you have 160 points on hand.

I've recently graduated from University, with a Bachelor degree in Mass Communication major in Marketing Communication (Which does not really needed in New Zealand).
, with some working experiences as a supervisor during my semester break few years ago.

According to my research, New Zealand immigration concept's website mentioned that the skills in the following areas are generally in demand in New Zealand:

- Agriculture & Forestry
- Construction
- Education
- Engineering
- Finance & Business
- Health & Social Services
- ICT & Electronics
- Oil & Gas
- Recreation, Hospitality & Tourism
- Science
- Telecommunications
- Trades
- Transport

Furthermore, since my qualification does not fulfil what New Zealand's demand, I however, have personally invited a web developer (Under ICT skill category) who has a several years industry experiences to conduct a 4 months lesson for me, I'll then go and find a short course and complete it. In addition, I am also planning to take IELTS for better command in English in order to have a better opportunity and skills to apply PR in future.
