My only major grouse with ios10 is the mail app. WHY was the delete all feature is now removed? I was happy to see it featured in ios9.
Or is there something I had missed out?
It was such a convenient feature

No, you didn't miss anything at all.
The "Delete All" function is, indeed, gone on iOS 10.
I didn't really use that feature that often while my phone is on iOS 9, so it's a minor impact on my part but sure look likes it's a major one for you.
Hopefully, the function will be back in the next update or so.

Both my iPhone and ipad mini are only my secondary devices . And I find it a nuisance and a chore to delete each mail individually. I cannot understand why Apple remove such a convenient feature in IOS10 when it was finally featured on IOS9

Indeed, that's a good question; one which I believe will be part of their "Show-Off-Feature" in the next WWDC kot!
"Hey, look, guys, now you can delete all of your mails ... again!" laugh.gif

yes. it is stable after indexing the existing data. and crash of outdated apps will consume battery. i send in my iphone to genius bar, since it is not defective after diagnosis, genius told that battery consumption is due to crash with some outdated apps and show me list of the crash
