Yes been happening.. I bought a second  iphone 4 ios 7 latest. When i try to download it said "You need at least minimum ios 8 " .. Seem it will  become minimum ios 9  or ios 10 in next year after iphone8 in the market.
If android, minimum was 4..

My Suggestion,upgrade to minimum iphone 6  to enjoy  apple pay (which ain't in malaysia yet) .. which not in 5s.. Apple seem like to force people to buy the overprice product.. ooops premium

what to do, because it's premium people still using iphone 4 till now.  and for other apple product a lot of due also..We will see how march event.. if need wait  end of the year.. ades.

Yup. I remember that day when queuing at the gardens for so many hours just to buy it.

However aesthetics wise, IMHO the 4 is best looking from the rest. Its the right size, glass back, best colour retina screen. I still have mine and its just a basic phone now. If I could reinstall back to ios5, its better still.

The iPhone buying experience these days is more like staying up till midnight at home, logging in and then cursing at the telco or retail outlet's website servers...

if each 2 year launch premium okay.. IF they launch iPhone 8 when people still struggle to paid the iPhone 7 contract..  it will fall down of them.

In the end it just freakin phone, unless APPLE PAY supported in our country..Then  excitement will come again..

And also if  ios 11 . Eliminated  the 4s,5,5c support.. Then people would start buy again.

In the app etc, it's still in English. Anyone has this 'issue'?

It's all set to English.
Like I said.. odd thing is it's only appearing on the lockscreen. Everything is working fine when I'm using the app itself.

i got "unable to install updates an error occured installing ios 10.3"

You know that new Apple ID tab right we now have the top of Settings in 10.3 - When I select it and then scroll down to a list of my devices and tap my current iPhone to display the Device Info, it tells me "Last iCloud Backup: Never", see here;

But when I tap on the iCloud Backup tab, now it's telling the time of my last backup;

What's going on here? Did it perform a backup or not? It's bugging the hell out of me. Mine is a iPhone 6. My gf uses a SE. My colleague at work uses a 7. All three of our phones display the same issue.
