Dracarys V2 (Don't know what else to call it ) Hey guys, it's been a while. New personal project otw. You can check out my last worklog here=> Project: Dracarysi'll be upgrading my rig to skylake, along with some other parts, so i'll have to re do the watercooling loop, always wanted to try petg tube bending, so here goes nothing Since my last update from my previous worklog, i've upgraded my graphics card from a 6990 to a R9 290X, and a few other things. Here's what it looks like: yes, the graphics card is soggy will definitely do something about that since i wont be upgrading it, don't feel the need to upgrade it yet since i rarely play games nowadays. #Update 1- disassemble current rig, and drain the loop - install new components That GPU sag is real, lookslike it can snap any minute love this motherboard even though it is a bit overkill for me, but bought it mainly because of how it looks testing new components at stock, with stock cooler This post has been edited by najmul: Sep 19 2016, 10:10 PM

#Update 3- leak testing done, drained the loop and added mayhems pastel red - painted the gpu support acrylic thingy - added rgb led strip to the motherboard rgb header not the most perfect solution, but it'll do rgb led, controllable via asus aura software, going for black+orange theme next update: - will work on a new psu cover, that covers at least from the psu to the pump/res, and with cable holes - going to remove some scratches on the side panel window This post has been edited by najmul: Sep 19 2016, 10:42 PM

QUOTE(overclockalbert @ Sep 23 2016, 09:11 AM) brilliant solution for the gc saggy problem. Thanks bro, but it was more of a coincidence really, at first i wanted to do something like an L bracket, but the acrylic left over's tube length coupled with the fittings was a perfect height, didn't even have to cut it.

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Oct 8 2016, 04:03 PM) Really nice project dude Now feel gatal also to work on the same project like you. looking at your signature, you have an awesome PC setup there bro If you've never done any custom water cooling before, it's a lot of fun, but the added cost + the hassle might turn off some people. I say, if you have the budget and the time, go for it

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Oct 9 2016, 06:58 PM) Some small budget only initially, concern more about the time. And lack of experience in this sort of stuff but done a lot of readings and YouTubing to help me to start. Plan to experience it on my own first of the challenge in it and yea, it looks fun, and pretty also once completed. Maybe I'll start with the EKWB P360 kit first, using the provided soft tubes first. Then maybe later on play with PETG tubes like yours once all hardware upgrades are done. great choice bro, that kit is great! i started off with buying a kit too, xspc raystorm kit, then slowly upgraded over time once i started to be more confident setting up custom loops. lack of experience is normal for starters. I usually watch jayztwocents and singularitycomputers to learn and get insipration for watercooling builds. let me know if you ever need any help

#UPDATE 4- Changed cpu waterblock to EK supremacy evo - Changed reservoir setup, now => bitspower 250 integrated kit with pump top + EK ddc heatsink + Ek uni pump bracket - re-did some of the tubing - new psu cover delayed Pictures took with flash on, without flash you can barely see the cpu waterblock, need some white leds on it watercooling loop done! temps are quite okay, idle at 28c, max when gaming 58c max, all at stock speeds no overclock, just left everything on auto, boost clock at 4.2Ghz max Next Update:- cable combs for better cable management - white leds for the cpu waterblock and reservoir - hopefully new psu cover, already contacted mod n go designs to help make it for me This post has been edited by najmul: Oct 12 2016, 01:58 PM
