why are u not using the same rational for 'the other' non muslim people in judging this issue in the first place?there're always strays among them too.that said,there're way more moral non-muslims all did it without islam and hudud what not.tell me one example where hudud implemented made the country a better place, better than any other country without hudud,say scandinavian countries.

thing is with muslims,once anyone decided to get a wee bit more religious,it won't simply stop there.the belief will just grow and grow proportionally to the length of their beard.it's the mindset of,if i love god,why should i stop here?why couldn't i do more to please god that i love?being kafir is syirik isn't it?the worst sin ever.If you run a country,u have hudud going,u would definitely try ur best to get rid of syirik as much as possible from your country.even if u have to infringe upon the rights of non-muslims.at least that's what we can directly observe in middle east,and the latest Brunei.
