Hi fellow Programming gurus, few things to ask. Let's have some discussion biggrin.gif

- If i am right, Java is the most demanding language out there in the market. How difficult it is for a newcomer to master JAVA ? I mean starting from Zero to Being able to do your own freelance project and make a living out of it

- Some said we should all start to do programming as early as we can, similar with learning musical instrument. Which i personally agree, because most successful tech founder in Silicon Valley usually started out very very young. In Malaysia/Singapore IT Industry, How true is that ?

- Have you ever encountered someone who is really amazing in coding in your life ? How much do they earn now ?

It's never too late. Don't overthink. Just do.

Start here, and don't come back until you finish it. If you can't finish these exercises, then programming is not for you.

Prepare to have an 'exit' plan after 30 because the industry in asia is very harsh in terms of age discrimination and career path of a 'programmer'.

based on my personal suggestion is... never following market learning the programming language because the popularity keep changing yet all programming mostly are same and fully utilize full ecosystem take 8-20 years experience.

person that having plenty programming knowledge most of time are half-cook because most time keep restart from ground learning new language impossible to polish up to making better programming, like doctor, have you seen heart specialist doctor sudden jump to neurologist??? you want be master then you must focus.

not true

1. certain people know how to code since born
2. certain people take years (1-10 year possible)
3. certain people until he/she age 40 still cannot code a good programming.

what do you think?

- Have you ever encountered someone who is really amazing in coding in your life ? How much do they earn now ?
if you learning something think on $$$ better don't learn because most time $$$ become your motivator, if this happen you already fall into dark... your future possible destroy because of $$$. choice is yours, i only can said i seen many of this case, end up they restart everything and 5-15years be-hide then others (if lucky still can catch-up by luck, else haha)

- Not sure if you meant it is the "most demanding" in the market or the most "in demand" in the market. Mastering a language usually comes with experience. You can't master it without real world experience. Best way is self-learn yourself and try to get get normal developer job before going solo and doing your own freelnce project

- You can start early or late, but you need to have the drive and right attitude to master it. Those founders started early because they are very self-motivated and want to be successful with their own initiatives and dreams

- Around 15k with a large US MNC, with subsidized house loan, car loan, bonus stock. Just a senior developer and not even architecture role yet
