Hi guys, i need some recommendation on pc build for After effects work
mostly using for heavy rendering, CGi, and preview function that need huge
amount of RAM for Premiere / After Effects / ray tracing preview.

user posted image

mostly it have something to do with lot of requirement on CPU firepower -
more cores - more better, RAM - (The most importante)
and GPU. for CUDA Processing and rendering, more kuda more faster ( Premiere Rendering )

Either its PC's or Laptop ( but i prefer laptop ) biggrin.gif

Price is not an issue - Company supported.

Thanks in advance

Swordsmen
i suggest get a notebook with nvdia quadro and firepro (amd).

can consider this
Dell Precision 15 M3510-I7828GB50-W107 (i7-6820HQ, 8GB, 500GB, AMD W5130M)

do u need 4k display? or just FHD?

do you need to lug around the laptop? PC would be more stabled and GC on desktops usually have better optimum usages for rendering. in the long run i think it'd be best to still get a desktop + you can always flexibly upgrade it should there's a need to. not sure about latest laptops but i guess you can still cook eggs on it for a long ass rendering? biggrin.gif

Sorry to forget that RAM is prefer 64GB and above. 8GB for rendering is pain in the ass. i don't mind carrying around cos due to job nature may need me to do rendering even at house. Display type is not important. Heat also is not an issue because mostly i work in AC environment

try to look atHP zbook 15u G3 Mobile Workstation. max ram up to 64 GB DDR4-2133 ECC SDRAM or 64 GB DDR4-2133 non-ECC SDRAM .

the price there is with 8gb ram... so, the price might different from shop + you gonna ask max ram up to 64gb ram...

the best you can hope for a demo are the Lenovo W series Thinkpads, but those cost less than 10K tongue.gif
