some merchant fast and some slow. mcm lazada is really fast. less than 5 hours(normally) after order being pack and terus ad tracking number. Some merchant however like to schedule shipment. means wait certain day to post item all together.

agree. I was a part of ninja van parcel delivery(they sub the delivery to part time) and as I told that, if the customer didn't hand over the payment, dont give item. After customer dh hand over payment, then can give item (but mostly I hand over 1st then take money from customer)
So its true that although you opt for cod, chances your item damage/broke during delivery is high. So let say after you sign and you open the parcel and parcel is damage, you cannot blame the courier guy as he mostly deliver ( or maybe some of them saje2 rosak kan item org, bad bad people ) and you must report immediately to lazada. You may however take picture on the spot together with the delivery guy and include in your report.

p/s: ayam already stop deliver item sbb warez house bapak jauh and too many nigerian play-play with over order (order barang tpi x nak bayar)

if possible find item that have rating from user. If not look for high rating seller ( although might not accurate at all)

before this I purchase motorcycle rain coat from oversea, takes around 20 days to arrive and send via pos laju.

You can claim directly from lazada and not from pineng malaysia. Its actually the website is reseller only, not represent pineng malaysia branch
