i recently did a restore from backup on my iphone via itunes (USB).
the entire process was quite smooth up until the part where the apps are being restored. i realized that the apps are being re-downloaded instead of being installed via itunes/usb like last time. i have 4 pages of apps (with and without folders) and i'm on 10mbps Unifi connection. i waited for almost 1 hour and only the first page of apps 'restoration' was completed, there are 3 more pages to go!

did a quick check, Apple have disable apps restoration via USB (kind of). this is going to be a pain for users with slow/limited internet that wanted to upgrade/transfer their device.

is there any solution to this?
