depending on your budget

nikon D80 with 10.2 MP,
good for beginner.
very nice image quality and not so expensive,
cost RM 3988 (body only).

are u sure... :|
that is so costly...

then D40

around RM2.2K for kit set...

and this model not good for varying lens rite....

it does not have mechanical focus drive pin

and onli AF-S/AF-I can be used coz have CPU contacts to drive the build in focus motor

i dun understand.. u want an affordable one.. but u wanted it to have features of the higher end models in it...

AFAIK, none of the current DSLR models is small + light + powerful + not so expensive.

it is small. light and yet powerful (depends ur lens ) and not so exspensive

D70s ...damned cool DSLR

Sure RM3988? I thought it is only RM3400-RM3500 for BODY-ONLY.

the lens might be a big problem later cos i might not be able to change lens later...
