I've had Windows 10 for awhile now, and it's mostly working great. The only issue I am dealing with at the moment is the fact that I can't click on certain things I search for in the Start Menu.

I've had Windows 10 for awhile now, and it's mostly working great. The only issue I am dealing with at the moment is the fact that I can't click on certain things I search for in the Start Menu.

For example:

Let's say I want to go look at the installed printers. Here are the steps that I would take:

Hit the Windows key on my keyboard.
Type: "Devices a". This causes a "Devices and Printers" option to show up in the search results.
Click on that search result. Nothing happens.
Use the arrow keys to highlight that search result and press the Enter key. Nothing happens.

I can still get to the Devices and Printers listing by doing the following:

Click the Start Menu button.
Click Settings.
Type "Devices and" into the Find a setting search box at the top right of the Settings app.
Clicking the Devices and printers search result in the Settings app.

Other things seem to work just fine from the Start Menu search results. If I want to launch the Edge browser, I just hit the Windows key, type "edge", and then click the Microsoft Edge search result, and the Edge browser launches like you would expect it to.

I've restarted a couple times hoping that the issue might just fix itself, but so far, it has not. I'm also up to date according to Windows Update.

I've done a bit of Googling and searching this subreddit, but I haven't found anything that addresses this issue yet. I apologize if there is an obvious answer sitting around here somewhere that I haven't been able to find. If there is, if someone could point me to it, I would certainly appreciate it. If not, does anyone here have any idea what the cause of this issue might be or how to fix it?

Have you installed all latest windows updates? Used to have this problem, solved by one of those main updates and haven't had it since.
