When i run either prime95 or SP2004 on my system with Blend mode, i noticed my cpu usage not running much, but my hard disk run heavily... Prime for mroe than 2 hour 1st test also didnt passed...
Then i tried Small FFT and In-place large FFT then the cpu straight away shoot up to 100%.....
Whats wrong with it??? Anyone can help me?? blush.gif

when running blend, there are different 'rounds' where the utility tests ram more than cpu and vice versa

there's nothing wrong with it...it's normal

small test will torture cpu more because the smaller fft will fit in the cache
in-place fft will force the utility to stress test the cpu

hdd running heavy because the memory is full loaded, so it's running on virtual memory
