My dad usually shifts from 3 to 5... but I usually do in sequence.
How bout, does any of you start moving in 2nd gear?  brows.gif

i do that most of the time
but u have to make sure the engine has enough torque to pull the car from standstill la smile.gif

sometimes i do skip 4th gear
i engage 3rd gear, then i take over cars, after settled down, i shift to 5th gear to continue cruising

also, with RPM matching, its possible to shift without the use of clutch biggrin.gif

you just need skill tongue.gif try googling

-snip-

edit : spelling
BB: down and upshifting without clutching is relatively easy in a synchomeshed gearbox. u dont need to precisely match the engine speed with the gear speed as the syncho will help to mate them. try doing that in unsynchomeshed gearbox and see whistling.gif

dont need too precise, but about there, still, do this alot, the sync will be gone also
