Their Digital Analog Converters (DAC), namely DAC 1 and DAC 2, are tiny minimalist USB-based devices seeking to fill in the gap of high resolution audio files playback chain. The goal of the DACs is to deliver the highest transparency of signal conversion, preserving original recording acoustics of the music files without introducing any coloration. The DACs are created to compete with the DACs that are cost 2-3 times more.

The DACs comes with solid casing milled from 6601 aluminum billet in either silver or gun metal color. The thing I like about these are its small footprint and USB-powered device give you a lot of options where to place them on the desktop or in the equipment rack, without worry its connector tangling with other devices’ cables. The input accepts male a USB connector (USB printer cable) and terminated at the other end with a pair of gold-plated RCA connector. On top the DACs facing, a green led serves as power-on status, which is really useful to inform the device working condition.

These American-build DACs are optimized with high quality electronic components, smoothing the analog output stage and eliminating high-frequency noise beyond the audio band. The DAC’s small footprint eliminates unnecessary signal lost with short circuit path. Furthermore, they utilize split digital and analog power supplies with dedicated filtering and regulator for your compromised listening pleasure.

This is a very good DAC, power by 5V USB power. Driven by Sabre chipset. It is a way better than those 2x or 3x priced dac.
