i know this might sound funny, but anyone facing problem with weedle?

everytime i try to catch a weedle, my app hang.

Happened to me twice. The app just hang, and after restart, the weedle is added to the Pokémon register but without the candies.

Looks like have to stop catching weedle for the time being.

Ditto disguises as Pidgey or Rattata at Damansara Uptown, in case you haven't noticed.

Another migration today.

The Pikachu nest at 1-U seems to have moved on, though a few pikachu still can be found there. There is now an Omanyte nest at Taman Jaya, managed to catch some with really good IV.

My wife got a Pichu from 5km egg very shortly after the Gen 2 launch. I got an Igglybuff from 2km egg two days ago, then she also got an Igglybuff yesterday. Still waiting for Cleffa, Togepi and Elekid.

I got 1 Magby, 1 Pichu, 1 Cleffa and 1 IgglyBuff from eggs.... but what's the point? sad.gif

also, since they increase the pokedex, should our pokemon bag capacity also increases??
*
Don't hope for that. That's how Niantic is going to make more money from pokemon register upgrade and incubators. They are going to give us one-time-use incubators very soon to cultivate the habit of getting more incubators into us.

I missed out the free incubator today.

The incubator give away is from 25/12 MORNING to 30/12 AFTERNOON, PST (Pacific Standard Time) which is UTC -8 hours. The exact time for morning and afternoon is not stated, but I suspect it to be from 9am in the morning of 25/12, and up to 5pm in the afternoon on 30/12 PST.

Our local time is UTC +8 hours. Thus, our midnight is at exactly 8am the previous day of PST, the time the event was launched must be at 1am our time.

The give away is tied to the first spin of the day of pokestop, which is based on local time.

I must have spun my first pokestop after midnight but before 1am this morning, and I missed out on the free incubator. And I will receive one less incubator because of that, 5 instead of 6.

Any one of you are in the same predicament?

P.S. I received the free incubator in my other 2 accounts which I spun the first pokestop after 1am this morning.

I was like "WTF?? 0% IV!?"  blink.gif  when I caught this mon few days back... As good as dead, I think...

[attachmentid=8423950]

Not really.
IVs are added to the respective base stat. E.g., if the base stat for attack of a mon is 100, it remains at 100 for 0 IV, and becomes 115 for perfect 15 IV. The difference could be only 10 to 15%.
In fact, if you check the appraisal, there will still be some good points because of the base stats.

The distance walked is hatching my eggs, but somehow my buddy is not credited with the earned candy though the distance counter showed the distance had been covered.
Anyone facing the same problem?

Both my wife and I are not getting any candy for our buddies. The distance counter is running, but when it reaches the total it simply vanishes, total distance not updated, and the buddy does not find the candy.
Are we the only two unlucky ones facing this problem?

Just thinking, will there be female Mr. Mime, or male Chansey or Jinx?

Haha, I have a few female Mr. Mime, but no male Chansey or Jinx.

The electric types and Ditto are asexual.

Anyway, I think I can accept Mr. Mime being female, she just dressed herself up as a male mime actor.

You can use your Pogo account on any phone that supports it, just make sure you sign out from one before signing in to another.

The naming works once, but there is a theory of guaranteeing getting Umbrion and Espion for evolution once you use up the naming trick. Rumor has it, if you dont and simply just click evolve, you will only get V, F, J only - i.e. no chance of getting U, E.

I have tried nearly 10 evolutions since gen 2 released, none produced E, U through direct evolution. I have yet to use the naming trick.
*
It turns out it is easier and surer to evolve Espeon and
Umbreon.

Yes, the naming trick works only once. Make sure there is no extra space in the name, and don't use Keyboard of other language such as Chinese keyboard, the character codes may be different.

After that, put your Eevee as your buddy, walk it for at least 10km, then from the buddy screen, touch the candy to invoke the Pokémon screen and evolve it from there. You will get Espeon when you evolve it during day time, and Umbreon during night time. Make sure your Eevee is still your current buddy when you evolve it. I know, because I wasted one good Eevee by evolving it after I swap it out from the buddy system.

For Vapereon, Jolteon and Frereon, it's still by chance.

And there is a limit of 40km walking distance over any 24 hours period. Allowing for some time overlap between buddies, distance in excess of the 40km limit will simply be lost, and the forth Eevee will not be able to get the full 10km distance.

btw, do you lose your progress if you switch your buddy??

I walked snorlax for 1.5km liao but want to change, will I lose my 1.5km? sad.gif
*
You will lose that distance for the candy, but it will stay with your buddy Pokémon, and will count if you are walking your Eevee for evolution.

Don't understand...
Do you mean the distance walked with the previous Buddy will be transferred to the new Buddy, when swap Buddy ?
*
The distance walked by each Pokémon is attached to that Pokémon, irrespective of whether candy had been awarded. If you look at the details of your Pokemons, you can see the distance they had walked at the bottom of the screen.
