Actually is satin, not really matte but definitely not glossy. I'm preventing dust builds up especially the surface is not slippery. I'm trying to keep as tidy as possible, since isr put the car pic at first page, can't afford to show bad example.

I don't understand your question? Oil filter is changed once every 2x oil change - oil change (maintenance minder A) and oil change + filter (maintenance minder B).

The oil change is following the maintenance minder, and the normal maintenance is once every 6 months or 10,000km. You may do both together, or do it separately e.g change oil at 7,000km and maintenance 10,000km, or do both at 7,000km when you do the oil change. Up to you, it's your money.

My maintenance minder shows that I need to change the oil at 10,000km, so I'll do it during my 10K service.

this one i don't quite understand oso - Yes its our money but how can u suggest we can choose to do both or not when the HONDA engineer create this maintenance minder A and B ?? and gave specific things to do when the minder pop up??

btw wonder how you can get to change oil at 10,000KM - can share any tips

You need to understand this. Maintenance Minder is only for engine oil or engine oil + filter change. Normal servicing is still every 6 months or 10,000km.

1. Maintenance minder A requires you to go at 8,000km, you can choose to do engine oil + normal 10,000km servicing at one go.
2. Maintenance minder B pops next at 15,000km, you can choose to do engine oil + filter change only and come again at 18,000km for normal 20,000km servicing, or do both at one go.

Is it hard to understand?

If you're stuck in a bad jam daily, there is no helping you on your reduced oil life. What I do is go on a long trip once a month and push the Civic hard once in a while. I find that my oil life goes up back to normal - YMMV.

Thx dude my concern it's actually about time not the money hope you guys understand it.

Second u on this bro..
The rattling noise sometimes there and sometimes gone.. I guess maybe due to our hot weather as i noticed my ride's rattles more especially after i parked under hot sun for few hours..

Anyhow, still finding ways to solve it. Sent to SC, told me they had checked it but no rattling sound. Half day after i collect my car then the annoying sound is back.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

Hope can rectify it asap or maybe other brothers here can advise after they found the root for these...

Sometimes really  vmad.gif  vmad.gif when the snakes come..

wah... i don't know in HONDA they call it bunyi snake but as for Proton this is exactly 'bunyi tikus'
Yes i hope they found it and you can share it here for us.

For me years with Proton i just D.I.Y only put double tape most of cases gone,
but really the hard thing is to find the cause first.
