It's been awhile since last post here.

Just got my car from SC, on my way to office some of the indicators (ESC, Steering, ABS) lights up and I know smtg wrong so I continue drive until office parking. After that tried to re-start again, but couldn't. Called my SA said he is coming now.
Just back from holiday and this happens  puke.gif

Problem solved:  Pedal Lock wiring problem  doh.gif  , Sorry made so much havoc hoo haa here n there

Which brand are you using for the pedal lock? So just remove the y socket and use back the original cable and plug back into the brake to solve the problem or plug back to the y socket?

So which one better? Civic vs M3.
Yet to test drive both.
In my mind now, Civic vs HRV vs M3.
My HRV friend ask me buy sedan better for baby seat and stroller.
SUV back seat not spacious enough.

Sorry bro. Miss out.

Will do a review later..

Is only 130k. My boss brand new Porsche Macan 550k gearbox problem in less than 6 months. Changed the whole gearbox.

No car is problem free. Some have more problem some lesser. Really depends on luck. icon_idea.gif

It usually is 1 film providing solar protection and security together.
There is also the 2-film type, but I prefer the single film type. Less problem in my opinion.
Go to a few shops to ask the experts to gain more understanding. smile.gif

I do 2 film type. This is due to the fact that your security tint won't have the best solar specs while your dollar specs do not have the best security specs.

So this way your security tint do not need to have good solar specs or even can have clear ones, I did it that way, as these type are cheap. My SA even have 3m contacts and they give the security layer free. So security tint 4mil plus 3m crystalline which is 2 mil will give you total 6 mil. Your average vkool security spec. Any thicker will run into possibility of over stressing your power window.

Anyhow the more layer, the more impact each layer will absorb. However it also means more work for tint guy. Especially when if there are bubbles which did not clear after 2 weeks.

Clocked 1.2k KM with my Michelin PS4, clocked 500km with my MC5 previously then trade in. Using nitrogen gas.

Road Noise
Ok for me, but i feel only slight quiet compare to MC5. Hope it wont become louder like PS3 when the treads getting lesser.

Comfort
PS4 is more comfortable than MC5.

Dry Grip
PS4
Daily Drive - Great grip on dry road,i feel only slight improvement compare to MC5
Highway Drive - Below 180km/h still grippy, above 180km/h feel abit floating. While making slight cornering on highway with 180km/h car abit float.v
*Not sure is my wheel problem or what confused.gif

MC5
Maximum speed i tried only 120km/h as i just got my car that time. But not much different on between daily drive on dry road situation compare to PS4. PS4 got better grip.

Wet Grip
PS4
Daily drive - no sense of steering moving while driving at raining situation or drive through stagnent of water with normal speed approx 60km/h
Highway drive - Cruise at 150km/h on rainny situation still the same as daily drive. Great aquaplaning and grippy.

MC5
Daily drive - The same as PS4
Highway drive - Cruise at 120km/h can feel my steering is moving while drive through stagnent of water. Wet grip is also abit loose.

Sorry abit long and messy, first time doing review

Normally you put either solar film on all windows (front, rear, 4 sides), or you install solar film on the front & rear windows, and security film on all 4 sides. Security film just means that it is thicker and higher tensile strength than normal solar films.

Depends. If it's a small chip, I don't even bother. If it's shorter than 3cm, you can go to glass specialists such as Dr. Cermin as they have solutions to stop it from getting bigger/longer. If it's longer than 3cm, you're advised to get it replaced soon. Get insurance for the front windscreen next time.

I park my car inside my house compound, in a sheltered parking area. The alarm went off maybe once or twice - and that was because there were lightning strikes in my housing area (really loud thunder) - but I guess this is normal as my old Honda cars also exhibit this issue. It would sound the alarm only for a short while.

I drove around 900km on the new Michelin PS4, and around 7,400km on the old Continental MC5. Agreed with your review. PS4 is worth to upgrade for our car.

- I am more confident to drive at 207km/h on the PS4.
- Wet performance is head and shoulders above the MC5 - I could drive at 150-160km/h in heavy rain at the highway without losing any steering feedback. Something that I do not feel on the MC5 above 130km/h when running through puddles of water.
- Tyre rolling noise - can't even hear the PS4 on properly tarred roads on the highway at 120km/h. I purposely turned off my radio to listen - my wife also concurs.

Anyway, I don't feel floaty at all on the PS4. Most probably you put in an incorrect amount of air pressure (too much?).
