Just wonder Note 7 owners from Singapore can get their replacement unit from Friday onward, why Malaysia need to be late by 10 days?

Really unfair!
*
Yup, my bro in law is getting his exchange on 16th. Well, probably Singapore relevant gov body/department is looking into this issue seriously as opposed to MY ?

Just talk to Samsung.

To those who phone are still in service center, we are require to collect from the service center then proceed to exchange at the store from 29th Sept onward.
*
Yup that is the process. All still go back to where you have collected your pre-order.

I really hope they would allow color change as apart of compensation. Having black looking for gold.

Question:

My Note7 auto reboot and stuck at boot screen on Saturday and I switched it off since then. Should I bother to make a trip to the service centre and let them check it or should I just save my time and keep it till replacement day and inform them about the problem during exchange?  hmm.gif
*
Well I guess it won't make any different. If you send now they would have keep it and loan you a loaner if got. Then you will need to go back to collect your faulty phone and exchange it at your preorder collection outlet.

Oh I see. Then I apologize lah bro. I may sound very harsh, but I am just showing my concern to my supported brand. No hard feeling lah bro.

And Yes, you are right on the logistic. But still, will them put a sales in the road show is still remain as a question. Are you a pre-order user? If you are, do you want to see people start buying the phone in the roadshow while you are still waiting for your replacement unit?
*
Consumers will not be able to buy the phone during the road show. It is merely to showcase the new Note 7 and some other accessories like gears. I guess it will just be like the one in Sunway last month.

SME is doing their best to reach out to all Note 7 owner. Missed calls me so many time before got me to inform about the refund for the protection plus package I bought, as well as the replacement procedure. Not bad...

I bought the note 7 from a person who made preorder with Samsung. Unfortunately I don't have the sales receipt. Can the replacement still be made without the sales receipt?
*
Where did the person purchased the phone from? Is it SME set? All partners that sold the preorder seems to have different set of requirement for exchange, some might required the receipt some might not. I think it is better you enquiry from the place where the phone is purchased what if you don't have (lost) the receipt.

Mysamsung app
Now warranty registrations maybe possible via app.  Never tried though but they fixed the bug. I never seen this screen earlier.

Yes, this is fixed. But I personally feel it is not useful. My set is already registered, but doesn't shows as registered here.

Have been using without SP for sometime now, experience is definitely awesome. Always put in a pocket with other phone and sometime accidentally with keys. Have not seen any hairline scratches, quite good. Not sure to continue using without SP after exchange...

Is it just me or the original Samsung's screen protector has a little yellowish tint? Anyone took out the sp and felt the difference in screen clarity and colour?
*
Yup, noticed that too, now without SP, awesome.

If only SME can provide such Q&A then there won't be so much uncertainty and repeated questions or calls.

As far as I know, must return everything. If lost box and accessories, try to sweet talk with Samsung. Maybe they still allow to exchange.

They will take from your new set.
