This is the most accurate answer.

Technically speaking, there's nothing wrong if the news/article title mentioned about the word "ban". You can only blame it for not elaborating more on the title. Instead, they explained more details inside the article. But, isn't this is a common practise in news report, where most of them love to use few words only in the title, which mostly could not justify the real meaning of the whole article? That's why we need to read the content instead of focusing on the title itself. But unfortunately, people always tend to jump into conclusion based on a small title. Again. that's a common thing in this real world.

Just tell operator what color you want and they will reserve a unit for you to pick up.

In my case, it was the operator who called and asked me about the color, venue, and date to pick up.

Quite surprise that still got some Idiots still ignoring the ban of using note 7 in aircraft and claiming it is safe to be used and the explosion wont bring down the plane. Speechless..

I hope we can buy a new phone by the end of the month. I don't feel like giving the replacement phone as a gift. Doesn't look good.

those who wana exchange just bring the phone. just say box throw already.. i dont think samsung so cheapo want all accessories back. those are cheap stuff.. LOL.. to them this explosion case is very serious to their reputation. they cannot say dont want to exchange just because you dont have the accessories..

imagine earpiece already use.. what they wana do with the one u give back to them ? refurbish? lol..

Of course, Samsung doesn't make such call as full accessories return. It's a decision made by SME. Accessories such as chargers and s-pen can be repackaged for resell.

I will go with only the phone and receipt and see how they respond to it.

Maybe they will sell the whole set as refurnished set in future once confirmed that unit is safe.
