Don't wait until 29 Sept. You can try to send it back to SC asap. According to some users, you can get a loan phone if you send the Note 7 to them early. |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Sep 18 2016, 12:12 PM) Guys, still remember that Samsung claimed that Note 7 China version is totally safe since they are using different battery factory? Well, it seems that China users could not escape from the fiasco as well. Hmph. This is dangerous. HaishhhToday latest news from China, still is mandarin article at this moment (I will try to post the english news once it's out). According to the owner, it was happening during he was browsing the phone. http://item.btime.com/36blblj753890j8rfb248a1j3ke Pics and proof of receipt attached. From the pic itself, we can see that the battery was swelling up. Multiple of assumptions out there. Mostly assume either Samsung China battery also has its flaws as well, or the root cause is not the battery itself. Anyway, this made the 1st Note 7 battery explosion case in China. |

QUOTE(tvb101 @ Sep 18 2016, 12:12 PM) Mine was working fine since day one, but last two days ago, my Black Onyx set kept restarting and the worst thing happened. It's in the restarting mode and suddenly screen black leaving only Blue LED on, and there's nothing I can do. Anything can happen before 29th, bro. Read this recent article.. the guy's phone exploded just few hours before samsung emailed him about note 7. Heats up sometimes while sometimes the switching LED & back LED lighted up. Very worrying condition. I did not able to restart, thus latest backup was not done and resetting it to factory settings. Anyone knows how to delete data before the 29th replacement? http://m.palmbeachpost.com/news/news/man-s...des-in-p/nsZg7/ |

QUOTE(brandonkl @ Sep 18 2016, 01:53 PM) The title also said ban. You can only bring to aircraft with condition off and also disable alarm because alarm can also awake the phone. From article I think this apply to all mobile phone now. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Sep 18 2016, 02:10 PM |

QUOTE(vez @ Sep 18 2016, 02:03 PM) everyone knoe that, but it may cause injury to people My response is not related to injuries to other people or not going to have impact. It is to correct the myth that a Note 7 can bring down an aircraft.if your mindset just because it is not going to have big impact, then you are so wrong |

From article I think this apply to all mobile phone now. Correct, the title of the article said "ban" but the content of the article doesn't say ban. My point is that we can't just read the title and follow it blindly and conclude that Note 7 is ban on aircrafts. If your phone is switched off completely (power off), the alarm cannot wake up or switch on the phone. If you bring your Note 7 on board and power it off completely and don't charge it, you can bring it on board. This is the fact. Note 7 is not ban on aircrafts. |
