Well, can't be too greedy on this one lah. Let them settle the replacement units first. Then take a rest a bit, calm and steady..... and come back full force in Oct! If possible, bring in the blue coral version as well lah. No need to wait any longer lah. I am sure the new color will change those minds who afraid to buy Note 7 in the first place.  brows.gif

Right now what Samsung should focus on is good strategies. Regain customer's confidence is the first priority they should attend to! bruce.gif

true, but who knows maybe Samsung managed to do it
anything is possible
and yes, blue coral looks sexy flex.gif

*

*
seems so, else maybe the event can be cancel due to global recall
but then if not selling what the point having another roadshow, last month already held it
but is good for those who miss it, for other side I guarantee sure got customer ask the staff, does it bomb laugh.gif

It's a good thing that you still have numbers to count. For people like me who are waiting for it to be launched, we can only pray for it to launch as soon as possible. sweat.gif

I rather wait longer to guarantee the issue is solved tongue.gif

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Sep 15 2016, 10:04 PM)
Of course I think the same too. But one side of me want to see it asap, another side of me hope that Samsung don't rush and they will take time on fixing all the issues before launching it. Aik! Dilemma here. tongue.gif
*
haha I know that pain, but off course safety is the most important
just hope Samsung learn this and don't rush their product anymore, as this case their market share drops a lot
especially during iPhone sales which is their biggest rival in the market

Samsung Service Center is the best, yesterday I receive a call from my service center asking about how is using the Note5 as a temporary replacement currently. And they also reminded me to bring whole box and receipt when want to claim the replacement unit on the 29th.
I think Samsung is the best after sales in service compared with other brands that I use previously.
The worst SC is Sony Mobile.
*
if you deal with Dell warranty before then you won't say this anymore
but off course, depends which Samsung service center you sent laugh.gif

Dell tak pernah rasa. At least this is the best I have ever gone through. I'm using an Asus laptop, the SC was not so good. Got problem with software, but takes almost 1 week to solve. At least the laptop is still going strong for 4 years already.
But I heard many people said Dell SC is 5 star. biggrin.gif

Maybe you said is true. Maybe my SC is the best, but others is so-so only.
*
so far I have claim warranty for my parents and my Samsung devices at different service center
some are good, some are not
since Samsung service center got different company, so you are lucky that the service center you went is good rclxms.gif
as for Asus warranty, they are well known sucks meanwhile Dell totally different laugh.gif

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Sep 16 2016, 12:32 AM)
Always heard that Asus's after sales service is very bad. Not only in Malaysia, even in Asus motherland Taiwan. The Taiwanese users always complain about their SC services all the time.
*
now I only know even in its motherland Taiwan also sucks doh.gif

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Sep 16 2016, 12:34 AM)
Woah I thought only here in Malaysia, but it also happened in Taiwan. They are good in quality, but in terms of SC. I'm just speechless. My friend send his laptop for software problem takes almost 2 weeks to solve.

But still, my Asus N56 still going strong after 4 years. Kudos to them for making the best laptop ever. Maybe after this can try a Dell laptop.
*
try Dell XPS / Alienware brows.gif

Hahaha. Too expensive for me. Completely out of budget. But the laptop is so nice to look at. Especially the new XPS model. That almost borderless screen. So beautiful.
*
slowly save for it, the design so sexy
btw is time to stay back topic before I get warning laugh.gif

Since we are on the topic of the importance of 3.5mm headphone jack, there's a rumor saying that Samsung may follow Apple's footstep in next year.

http://www.sammobile.com/2016/09/14/rumor-...oprietary-port/

Honestly, I won't be surprised if they do follow since the mobile trends is "You copy me, I copy you" kind of thing....
*
copy here and there
and then goes bashing across company
*example, Huawei laughing Apple use dual lens camera on their phone
and Motorola laughing they also ditch 3.5mm jack

anyway, this is a good news for consumer as we can compare each other
got competition then they only can improve further on their product smile.gif

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Sep 17 2016, 05:01 PM)
I hope not. Because they don't have the power as Apple to manipulate everyone thinking that we do not need a headphone jack.
Look what happened to Samsung when they decided to remove the microSD slot last year. They were hammered by all Samsung users about the slot removal. Maybe they won't go that route again.
*
maybe follow Apple as well give USB type C to 3.5mm jack instead lightning to 3.5mm jack
just like Motorola doing on their Moto Z, who knows whistling.gif
