QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 7 2016, 07:35 AM) Apple better be coming up with something really revolutionary like the Note 7, if not... it will be curtains for them. Looking at the current leaks, I dont see any for now. Apple hasn't done "revolutionary" since the passing of Jobs. But I don't see curtains for them just yet, not when Samsung's latest and greatest now has the stigma of being a fire hazard... |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 7 2016, 01:27 AM) I know they (SME) have the record. But i purchased from digi, digi will not have the replacement device's record. This is my concern. From the comments in SME FB, seems the replacement arrangement information wasn't well delivered to their partners at this point. I shall make a call to both careline n digi days after. |

QUOTE(jerryhean @ Sep 6 2016, 10:48 PM) QUOTE(silencer5089 @ Sep 6 2016, 10:52 PM) join the many of us who have turned off the Note7 and use a temp phone.even then, might not be a good idea to keep the phone at home -- in case it suddenly catches fire and burns down the house. i'm trying to find out if we can return before the date... |

Add more animations in their GUI then capture more little girls asking their boyfriends to buy. Lol. QUOTE(ramen241 @ Sep 7 2016, 08:59 AM) considering there was mention of latest case where phone was not charging when it caught fire/ exploded... ...and if you've seen the jerry video in last thread and saw how easy it is for the battery to catch fire... i dun think leaving in discharged/ drained is going to be of much help. |

QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Sep 7 2016, 12:38 AM) Anyone jumping ship to other brands like LG V20, HTC Nexus, Motorola Z, HTC 10? Will consider Sony Xperia XZ i think these few phones above also offer better performance and reliability over Note7. |

Looking at the leaks, I have high doubts. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Sep 7 2016, 09:18 AM) considering there was mention of latest case where phone was not charging when it caught fire/ exploded... if you notice, jerry did mention they battery will be caught on fire when it come to contact with metal/something. personally, i believe the damage is less with fully drain battery than keeping it with with no juice....and if you've seen the jerry video in last thread and saw how easy it is for the battery to catch fire... i dun think leaving in discharged/ drained is going to be of much help. |
