V12 Evo 2, S1 Evo 2, or Falken FK510 are better.

Well if you read the reviews on those tires, especially the V12E2 & the new FK510, they're also considered very quiet, matching or even beating those so called mid-range comfort tires. The V12E2 was tested for only 67db by Car & Driver Magazine which is very quiet, plus it's also considered to have a softer sidewall (a forummer here who has used both V701 & V12E2 even said the V12E2 is softer!) so it's still pretty comfortable. So I'd highly recommend at least the V12E2 for comfort without sacrificing performance and yet all at a very affordable price, cheaper still than the V701. FYI I'm also using this tire for my wife's and son's cars and very happy with them.

V2C2 is mid-range tire, that's why grip not so good. Sidewall stiffness, well if want comfort then sidewall cannot be stiff, something gotta give.

AD08R is extreme category and sidewall stiff coz got steel inserts there, dry grip is surely excellent but wet especially on heavy rain should slow down coz not much water channels. It also will finish very fast, even faster than RE003 I think. Definitely not suitable for comfort. 

It think wet grip without puddles should be ok but if water level a bit much then aquaplaning should be more pronounced, is it? I mean compared to normal UHP tires like PS3 for example which is well know to have excellent aquaplaning resistance. How many km can they go on your car?
