In PC, we normally put our download list in BT and download it 24/7 (I'm not sure you guys, but at least me yes). How about 360? Do you switch on your 360 for just to download trailer, demo, ...?

my answer is: YES! biggrin.gif

especially those with sizes of 1GB..takes more than 12 hours to finish it, so i just leave it on b4 going to sleep and by the morning it's done! rclxm9.gif

however, i personally think the x360 could use a new update to allow us to pause all downloads. i hate it when i login, then if i go live gaming, the download stops and it sometimes corrupts the download. if we could pause all items in the queue, it would be better. don't u think? smile.gif

Yes you are right. I think that it will still pause the download as long as the "Stopped download" message is not shown out. Sometimes strange that the download will not go down to 0%. sometimes go down 15% and let you download d 15% again

akuma, that shouldn't be the case.

However I do agree that it takes too long to download certain items (Crackdown, j00 suck!) and now with the ROD issue I'm damn scared to leave it on any longer than I have to...

well i left my set on for more than 12 hours just to download crackdown and still it only got up to 74%. i continued the next night after givin my set a full day's rest and then it finished when i woke up for work. sempat play demo b4 go to work summore~ sweat.gif

leaving the set in an air conditioned room or a place where there's a fan to cool it down would help. so far no problems with my set yet, and God please let it be tht way till Xbox1080 comes out. notworthy.gif

OT, I know, but I have read cases of A/C causing condensation in the 360 when you turn the A/C unit off. I guess Malaysian climate doesn't really suit the 360.

hmm..what bout other gamers who also don't have their a/c turned on 24/7? any experience of console breaking down?

what about those gamers in europe/america? come summer, i guess they'll be playing it in an air conditioned room right?

what i do know is tht condensation will likely be the problem when you put the console in a place where the difference in temperature is EXTREME. like, putting it in a freezer, or out in the cold where it's almost sub zero temperatures. also, places where it is dramatically cold would cause condensation. however, i don't think air conditioned rooms will give condensation problems, but please correct me if i'm wrong. smile.gif

i put my set on an open table, a lot of space all around for ventilation and i normally switch on the AC when i want to play games. hopefully this isn't a life-shortening lifestyle for my 360. sweat.gif

Speaking of downloads, I can only download at 40 - 50 KB at any time.

Downloading on the desktop can go up to 150++. Is that normal for you guys too?

I'm on Streamyx 1MB package....

Best downloads I believe would be during the weekdays evenings. Not many streamyx users with the Americans sleeping.
