Did anyone see the video of JL and VR answering a question from a reporter about VR's overtaking manouvre on JL? JL sounds like a crybaby. Say VR was too aggresive with that move and say other riders can overtake more cleanly. VR laughed and they went back and forth about it. DP in the middle dunno what to do. Lol
*
JL very funny. Always a cry baby when things went south. "Other rider can pass clean, but that's VR riding style" dunno what the f he talking about.

This is what we miss in F1.

Back to back fastest laps.

Dani gaining...and gaining.

Use to see this in F1....like 10 years ago laugh.gif

*
Dani is the man on fire yesterday. no doubt. see him closing the gap bit by bit. flex.gif

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Sep 12 2016, 12:12 PM)
Track limits; red.

Vinales was ordered to give the place back to Dovi.
But Rossi did not.

Maybe because Vinales gained an advantage over Dovi.

ya might be. Rossi's qualifying time was disqualified due to the track limits too.

Race Direction said Rossi could have avoided the penalty if he had backed off by the same amount, once he returned to the track.
Ini racing lol, how to backed off during a race when your adrenaline is rocket high brows.gif

But the penalty of 0.3 I think is quite fair. Since it is a result of comparing the sector.
And Yamaha doing great job by not putting up the Penalty notification since is negligible.

VR 10th title macam forever so far...
But he can be this consistent for this 2017 Season I think sudah terbaik la.
Nothing much to ask for with his current age notworthy.gif

Well if he had slowed down a bit maybe in the next 2 corners then he would probably not get a penalty. I think VR criticism of Zarco also not so correct coz he himself were often quite aggressive an opportunist during close fight and that's why he was great. Anyway moot point now already.

Yeah VR cannot rely on just consistent podium finishes, he needs real genuine speed to beat those 2 young guns to win him his 10th and it doesn't look as promising yet especially relative to MV on ths same bike (with MM at least he can hope he can have a better bike as the season progresses). He needs to sort out his front end problem to match MV.

At 38 still so competitive and fast against very talented ultra fast young guns, that already cements his legendary status.
*
I have not watch the full race on how Zarco overtake.
But as Ayrton Senna said "... if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver ..."
I think the only difference is, in Bike racing also have to consider opponent's safety that's all.

QUOTE
Zarco:
“No, that's MotoGP, that's why maybe the way I did it could not go. But it was necessary to do it like this, because there was an opportunity to pass him, and if asked myself, can I do it? Maybe I crash, so necessary just to do it.

Oil spill? How can one corner bring down so many riders?
*
Yup, confirmed oil spill by adam

Danny Aldridge, MotoGP technical director, confirms it was Adam Norrodin's bike that dropped oil, even though SIC Racing's Johan Stigefelt denied the claim when interviewed live on TV. Well then. Apologies to Jakub Kornfeil for pointing the finger his way.

QUOTE(6UE5T @ May 22 2017, 11:20 AM)
I think most people already realized for some time now that the 10th title is already getting too difficult for him to achieve. He can still be very competitive and steal a few wins here and there with some podiums but beating those young guns consistently is already too tough now. To be honest, he has been some kind of an underdog for several years now compared to JL & MM and now MV but people like to see him wins because of this old underdog position that he is already in now for some time. He did still able to beat JL for a few season before JL departed though, just unfortunately those that were non title ones (he was 2nd a few times and JL were below in the points) while when JL beat him were to win the titles.

Regardless, racing against guys 10-15 years younger is a feat in itself, and always running with the top at that.
*
With or without the 10th WC title, I think he already make himself a legend showing people not to give up on what you like. Keep pushing yourself forward.
