Could it be Yamaha bike friendly on the tyres while Ducati bikes worn out tyres?

FQ was on the hard front. Pecco and Miller on the soft.

This race shows why FQ deserves to be champ. On a track supposedly dominated by the Ducs, he was almost challenging for the win while the other Ducs aside from Peco are not living up to the bike potential and making mistakes. Instead of working as a team to limit FQ, they just think and race for themselves and ended up beaten by FQ, dissapointing.

Let's guess will AB of WorldSBK suffer another meltdown or not? Happened in year 2019. Toprak is coming back strong with monster form so far.

Mir will suffer like rest of MM team mates cuz nobody can match MM speed and even worse the Honda is tailor made only for MM.

I also think he will suffer,at least in the beginning. If I remember correctly, it took him some time to make the Suzuki work for him too.

On the other side of things, Oliviera rejected KTM/GasGas offer and went with Rnf Aprilia along with Raul Fernandez. So many rider/bike combo changes for next season.

If he is one of the top qualifiers should not be a problem for him to claw back positions.

BTW, 1 thing I have been wondering, why Zarco isn't even considered for the factory Ducati seat? Too old? Must be quite demotivating.

Zarco another overhyped rider, podium runner without win for many years, be it Yamaha bike or Ducati bike. Sometime when you believe he will be doing well after a few races on podium or leading in free practices, crash or falls sure happen.

Never win in MotoGP actually but double Moto2 champion. But as I was writing that, commentator talked about him. Seems like they prefer younger rider so can have a longer term project. Also helps that Italian and Spanish influence is stronger in the paddock. Seemed odd to me despite him currently being 3rd in the championship.

The thing is FQ seems fast in this track too, so stsrting further back will be difficult to beat FQ.

JZ initially when he joined Yamaha looked fast during qualifying but somehow always fade away or make mistakes during races, so he is apparently not as good as he was in moto2 and now getting older.

Ducs fill up top 4 grid with both FQ and AE struggling a bit in 8 and 9. Peco will start 5th so still in front of those 2, we'll see if he can win again.

Another good ride by Marini although he faded a bit towards the end. He's getting to be one of my favourite riders.
