Even if you hate JL's attitude, you gotta give him credit for always daring to take on whoever the fastest rider in any team! When came to MotoGP, he faced VR until he beat him out of Yamaha and then still accepted VR back and beat him again! Then went to the Duc to take on Dovi when Dovi is still peaking there and at least able to win once, something that VR failed. Now again he dares to measure up to MM in Honda. Good luck to him!

As for Dani, well this is the beginning of the end. He had his best chances already and just could not capitalize, simply not consistently fast enough. The rider with the most wins but not a single title.

I think JL made the wrong decision on wrong timing. These 2 years it seems Honda bike are hard to tame, even Marquez also encounter numerous crash. While now it seems Ducati are more rider friendly and easily can get into podium.

Apparently Honda still using 2016 chassis, means 2016 like Yamaha was a good year chassis wise but then again, maybe it's just me but Honda riders "crutchlowing" a lot more these last couple of years. .

Seems like electronics the area Yamaha really lacking.

Thrilling race until just the last few laps, unfortunately unlike F1, the end result is not exciting for the championship. MM is just too good and proves again that he is truly the king of MotoGP. JL will have to prepare for more beating next year.

I doubt JL can adapt so quickly to beat MM in the first year judging by how long it took him to finally beat Dovi, but maybe the Honda is easier to adapt, who knows.

Interesting thing I found out. Seems like Dovi and Lorenzo aren't really on good terms. Since Lorenzo never had any good relationships with his teammate, I wonder how things will go at Honda next year.

I saw after the race JL just tap Dovi at the back and put up hand say "congrats", same JL and MM. Then Crutchlow come, hug JL,hug Dovi lol.

I still don't understand why they keep holding British GP at this time of year. And sepang at year end too. They should knw weather plays a big part in some circuits.

they really need to revise the schedule, especially the weather prone tracks like silverstone and sepang.
