Unlike previous years, I don't think he can demand too much, there's a lot of talented riders coming thru from Moto2 and Yamaha has set up teams in the lower categories to groom young riders(with VR46 Academy some more). And not to mention Toprak mentioned he'll switch to MotoGP from WSBK if the opportunity arises. Yamaha also not afraid to poach talent from WSBK.

Bagnaia extends his contract with Ducati. Jack Miller probably will be dropped next year if his performance isn't as good I think.

Thanks for the vid. Missed the warm-up yesterday so I didn't see the crash. But yeah MM really struggling with the bike with 2 crashes in Q1. I think he is the guy with the most crashes this weekend. BTW Indonesian crowd looks fantastic. Still a lot of yellow shirts around too.

But to me FQ is not quite at the level of MM yet especially in the wet. FQ became champ when MM already injured too. But yeah I am affraid you are right that MM might not get back to his best form anymore due to his injuries.

GOATs of yesteryear like Doohan & Rossi had set the bar too high that only next-gen talents like Marc (and to some extent Lorenzo & Stoner) can match their level. I can't really make a full judgement on current crops of talent because most of them haven't reach their peak yet. Even Quartararo isn't at that level yet.

The Beast wins again to regain the lead, and a great fight back from MM after fluffing the start. Good result too from Rins, climbing up to 2nd in the points.

Edit: MM had a problem on the start with warning light came up. He should've been fighting for the win!
