Probably 2 champions going to retire after this year, VR and MM.
I think MM may not be able to get back the form, retire and be AM's manager instead, lol.

VR I think may retire end of the season.
MM I am not sure, hopefully not cuz it's a big pity.

If you consider that performance of his as competitive, then you are gauging against the level of aprillia and ktm. laugh.gif

Yeah, he is firmly in the midfield now, not able to reach podiums anymore.

i feel it's time for VR to part ways with Yamaha. forsee wherever he goes riders wont be happy with the bike issues. after leaving factory team, the new riders has improve on their bikes but not the SRT leaving with issues. maybe next season with Aprilla, duc, or Gixxers

It's a pity for MM to retire like that... He shouldn't rush back to racing last year....

He's the only hope for Honda at the moment...

I actually like his racing attitude... He can be aggressive all the time but never give up....

Hugely Honda management (namely Puig) fault for rushing him back. Would be better if he leaves the factory team & demoted to LCR or other satellite teams (really want Pons back on the grid).

Even better if he leaves Honda altogether. Honda would intially struggle to find his replacement (just like finding Rossi's replacement back then) until they inevitably find another alien 😆

Didn't ask much from MMarquez but if Rossi can finish P4 on his comeback after the Mugello crash, top 10 would be huge given the extent of MM's injuries.

It was still first practice and it was a damp track, the others might also cautious not to push, haha.

Decent comeback from MM. Thought he’d hold on to the 2nd row but got beaten by 3 or 4 riders at the end. Will be interesting if he can last the whole race.

Pity Peco lap got cancelled! He got the bike to fight to the front though.

Pretty good come back for MM, surely he is still not at his best condition but yet still the fastest Honda by far.

What the hell is wrong with MV, cannot even stay in the track to get just 1 legal lap!

Great job by FQ and JZ, with AR and JM in the hunt too, while VR needs to just retire next year.

Gonna be a great race tomorrow!

The Suzuki looks strong. MV blew his start and drops even behind VR, and Miller crashes! MM started hard bit now steady.

Maybe there is a reason why Ducati only give Miller 1-year contract... hmm.gif

Also Vinales seems reverting back to "old normal".
