He stuck with Honda for many years but with so-so results, once he got on the Kawasaki, it's like everything clicked and straightaway worked for him. He is a lot more likeable than MM so he does not make unnecessary enemies. Only butthurt Tom Sykes hates him .

500cc class wasn't memorable to me that time. I remembered there were like 3 Repsol riders. Didn't even remember the Doohan crash. All I remember was the 250cc class fight with Rossi winning the championship and Alzamora winning the championship without winning a single race.
