QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 14 2017, 12:44 AM) wait, isn't sometime a serious crash will damage the engine or transmission? MotoGP no grid penalty like f1 if replacing damaged engine/transmission? got...but their engine usually very reliable... and coz no tebo.. so less things to go wrong... the famous rossi engine blow last year also due to bike over-revved while travelling mid air at full throttle at topspeed... (plus new ecu they overlooked that safety factor) QUOTE Teams without concessions – Honda, Yamaha, and Ducati – will have all engine development frozen at the start of the season, and will have to submit homologated engines before the season starts. They will have seven engines for each rider for the full season. They will also be limited to just five days of private testing with their contracted riders (i.e. the riders racing for each team during the season), though they are allowed to test at any track they choose. This testing is in addition to the official tests organized by IRTA, during the preseason and on the Monday after three races in Europe. Teams with concessions – anyone running an Aprilia or a Suzuki – will be free to continue engine development during the season. They will also have nine engines per season, instead of seven. Perhaps most importantly, they will have unlimited testing – or rather, testing will be limited only by the special tire testing allocation, which is 120 tires per season, per rider, a limit which also applies to the non-concession teams. but they are free to switch any engine they like from their 7 declared engine on race weekend if 1 broken... then they left with 6 engine for the season... full article: https://motomatters.com/analysis/2016/01/08...pdate_a_si.html This post has been edited by ^pomen_GTR^: Oct 14 2017, 05:24 PM |

great ride by hafiz.. i think if he can get away from luthi much earlier, he will heave eough tyre to fight for champion...
anyway..great ride by him...the commentator couldnt stop talking about him all race long... as for rossi...poor uncle... he is lucky it was slow crash and doesnt hurt his leg much.... adam noruddin wasted his top 5 chance.... saw this too many times... he need someone to train his mental to keep calm.... looks like he couldnt cope with pressure and make mistake... and pawi... jump to moto2 is too early....if he spend another season in moto3, he could learn many more race trick... i guess it just a matter of time for him to understand riding bigger bike and fully utilize the power available... (probably he is lacking on braking and mid corner speed) |

QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 18 2017, 01:50 PM) It seems like the Honda was not easy to ride in wet, Crutchlow, Pedrosa either crashing or complaining no grip.. top 10 only 1 Honda.. MM really the rider king by mastering that to 2nd, almost a 1st... crutchlow is just reckless...pedrosa pulak too conservative...thats why he were having hard time to put heat on the tyre...but on dry saw he started to improve again... |

the last corner effort in that motegi race to me is just MM just wanna try last hurrahhh....
(nothing harm) to him and dovi.... just if dovi was some sort of newbie, sure will fall into the trap and MM end up leading to finishing line... its like tag pull n push game.. lol plus i think MM already maxed the tyre and couldnt do anything more to counter after the mistake several corners earlier... if not he will leading comfortable win on that lap... |

QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 20 2017, 08:21 PM) Nowadays Philip Island lap time so close! Dovizioso and MM sticking each other... Gone are the days Stoner almost smoking everyone with 1-2 sec.. Rossi got once very near to him only I remember. QUOTE(ciwi1166 @ Oct 22 2017, 01:41 PM) congratz MM. crazy motogp battle...fantastic race overall, nail-biting race from end to end, especially on the leading group.. Ducati was poor though this time. feels like moto3 racing situation but at higher speed and bigger bike they swapping position every corner on the track |

QUOTE(ciwi1166 @ Oct 29 2017, 03:40 PM) team order came on his bike meter display..."recommended mapping no.8" in racing bike... usually with multiple map (could be 10 map selection total) mapping no.1 will be the best all out max power setting... and bigger mapping number means weaker mapping..hence slower bike... but #99 himself made a mistake at T15 basically almost similar lowside like #93 earlier where knee almost folded over to the back... so dovi pounce and lead... and can see #93 today not pushing as hard IF valencia is raining.. then dovi sure win |

QUOTE(Aydee @ Apr 28 2018, 05:10 PM) I follow wrc during first couple of years of loeb. Totally didn't follow ogier years. Just watched on and off. u should watch it now...new regulation with bigger tebo restrictor..means the car now got higher power around 360-380bhp and aerodynamics like dtm/touring cars... so the battle is more fun now... and the car more flat out in the stages also...it have been long time since we heard wrc cars hitting rev limiter at top speed inside stages.... now they do it regularly coz more grip to carry higher speed and more power to hit top speed also... |
