Bautista crashed like MM style? Leading then crashes?

Looks like he lost the rear, Chaz Davies also taken out by Melandri. I think Melandri saw a gap and went for it but Davies didn't see him and shut the door. Melandri had good pace this weekend. Yamahas were strong whole weekend.

Yes, seemed like he went just a tad wide in the first corner then slided off, already like over 1 sec ahead.

Reminds me of 500cc days when doohan is the only rider who can tame the screamer NSR 500

It became easier for others to ride when honda switched to big bang configuration

Seems like this issue is nothing new then....

Plus pedrosa was quite good with bridgestone tyres..... no idea why he couldn't perform better with michelins (referring to 2016-onwards tyres).

It's been well documented that his weight is an issue. He is simply not heavy enough to heat up the tyres sufficiently. That's why he is always spinning the tyres a lot.

tyre lifespan... remember that on michelins, the rider have to self-restrain themself from going maximum laptime attack from start to finish?

back then in bridgestone era, they tyre compound would last every race easily...so pedrosa have less thing to worry about...

I think Rossi should have just gone out on track again since he got the least damage could've taken at least 14th place. And gather some data too. He seemed like saving his tyres in the beginning by not getting involved in the scraps.

Uncharacteristic rookie like mistake by JL robbing us a possible good race! 😤 Now this racing season is complete with domination:
F1 by LH
MotoGP by MM
WSBK by AB
Australian Supercars by SM.

All of them now already leads by more than a full race, some almost by 2 races, so need at least a DNF just to bring back the rest to be remotely within contention. Sigh...

Looks like his handle bar and brake lever got broken already so not enough time to fix it.
