I think MM should be penalized more, like grid penalties in the next race because VR got the grid penalties when he pushed MM wide at Sepang. I'm not siding with VR though coz MM is clearly at fault, I just want consistent ruling.

He should've gone at least to Suzuki but not sure why Suzuki preferred Rins over Zarco (maybe about money). KTM now is the worse bike on the grid, so would be even more difficult for Zarco to fight at the front like now. I actually want to see him in Honda to replace Dani but I suppose that would be a career destroying move as well as he would have a tough time matching MM.

Sigh now MM quite far in front in the points already.

Ducati should've just set the strategy from now on that JL should be supporting Dovi. Dovi was faster than JL but just cannot pass. If JL had let him go, Dovi might stand a chance to keep up with MM.

The factory Yamaha are also hopeless, they should just reverted to Zarco's bike instead!

Now that the factory Yamaha boys are struggling, he doesn't have as much challenges as he just needs to keep an eye on Dovi.

Btw Pedrosa is not happy with the race decision.

From my POV incident started when Dovi ran wide and took JL with him, DP saw a gap and went for it, JL just closed in from a different line and BANG!. It's a racing incident and all contributed but I think JL should have looked behind. He knew DP was there and should have been more careful. Such bad luck for DP, he seems very disappointed, he may retire at the end of the season.

But last year Yamaha was still able to win a few races, and in the early stage MV & VR were title contenders who were leading the points at some times. Now they're even easily beaten by Zarco in the satellite team, struggling to reach podiums already.

Dani & Pedrosa is the same guy btw.

JL may take the paycut but I'm not sure if he is willing to go to a satellite team. Even VR took a paycut but it was for a factory team. From another rumour, Jonathan Rea is on the brink of signing with Honda. JL could move to SBK to take the factory Kawasaki seat but he did say he is staying for another 2 years. Maybe JL will go to Suzuki, that's why Iannone lost his ride. Iannone didn't do so good last year but this year is a different story. He topped the times in FP. I think it's a huge loss for Suzuki. He is very experienced now. Heck he even beat Dovi a lot when he was at Ducati whereas Lorenzo can't even touch Dovi.

Wow, the old man of MotoGP turns back the clock and won pole on the fastest track! Hope he can keep his pace and won tomorrow and MM would struggle a bit. Good that MV is also in the front grid.

Hope all except MM get good points to close the championship points gap.

Finally MM also made a mistake in the race! Unfortunately VR cannot capitalize to the max so gap still a significant 23 pts. It was so obvious that he was losing time in the last corner accelerating to the front straight.

So finally JL proves that he can indeed win on the Duc. The Ducs were like missiles today on that straight. Good win for him but is it a little too late?

No surprise MM crashed in the race. Given his crashing attitude I'm surprised he seldom crash in the race after year 2015. Year 2015 was his disaster year when he crashed so frequent in races..

As expected, Pedrosa parting ways with hrc at the end of the season. Doesnt say if he retires or joins another team.
