if Dovi win 1st place in Valencia, MM only need to be at position 2nd to 11th to clinch the championship, which is very likely.

Yeah knowing how JL is, I don't think he cares to help Dovi. He was pushing and really almost fell down hence got overtaken, or else he will just continue on his merry way to win it.
