there are lots of hairline scratches. here is not malaysia where people will simply try to scratch demo set in apple store.

not sure about the ip7.. but 6s plus tempered glass is not compatible with ip7 plus. the camera lens position will be covered by half.

ya as for now confirm all sets purchased will have that hissing sound. maybe newer batch will fix it though.

i believe most of them didnt notice it. i so far have played with 8 iPhone 7+ and 4 iPhone 7, mix between aussie set, singapore set and hong kong set. all have that hissing sound.

for my phone, i dont really mind about it, bcoz i can only hear the sound if i put my ear at the back logo.

maybe the most effected or noticeable time is during video recording, but i wont use my ip7+ for it as the quality is nowhere as good as my s7 edge or note 7.

It's very very minimal. U have to remove case, and put your ear exactly at the bottom part of the apple logo to hear the sound clearly. I dunno the downside effect of this hissing sound, but as for now, for me it's not a big deal at all.

Finally back at home with a wifi connection to download ios 10.1..

I wonder if there is anyway to bypass Apple restriction to download apps or update over mobile data? This restriction is not convenient at all.

i dont think resale value for iPhone is as good as it was last time.

recently, i just sold iPhone 6s 64GB rose gold and there is 45% depreciation value. My friend sold almost similar aged samsung galaxy note 5, and its depreciation value is just 32% .

absolutely agree. the main reason why apple phone had very good resale value was the predecessor is normally gone EOL right after the launch of new model.

i started my thread at 2.5k but suprisingly no enquiry at all. finally lower down to RM2.3k and manage to sell at RM2050.

I believed we can sell higher price at Mudah.. Here all are quite 'up-to-date' and always take advantage of these reasons - old model, new model coming out, price already drop, i got cheaper offer.. lol.

last time i wanna sell my LG G5, here highest offer was RM1350.. then i opened ads at mudah and able to sell at RM1700.

kinda regret didnt open ads at mudah for the ip6s

The reason behind this is lots of grey exporter export SG stocks to our country, and other asean countries.

My friend works as outlet manager in one of epicentre in SG and said lots of their stocks were sold to dealer aka exporter.

Non malaysian set normally cant be sent to midvalley service center.

However, SG set can be sent to times square service center.

Maybe not all, or maybe all, but some is worse than the others. dont really worry about it, unless u always record video in silent environment.

for my phone, i have to make sure i mute everything in the room - PCs, fan/aircond, & TV of course all are switched off. I then play any full hd video but with volume goes down to silent, & put my ear at the apple logo at the back. just wait for maybe 10seconds, the hiss sound will starts to come out.. it's not loud, but it's definitely there.

Sigh.. It is known that vendor for iPhone 7 battery is the same vendor with Galaxy Note 7 sold in China and most probably the note 7 replacement set. And there hv been cases for burnt or explode note 7 in china..

I definitely wont feel safe now. Both phones in my pockets are like a time bomb
