QUOTE(deeplyheartbroken @ Sep 14 2016, 03:31 PM) Why Apple now announce their processor as quad core and has more RAM now? We don't need those. Same goes with the dual camera, look at HTC it died. Just like the first iPhone we don't need the specifics, we will just buy it. We all know iOS is lightweight and therefore faster. We also don't need those water-resistant certified thingy, since iPhone 6S passed the water test in many review even though it is not water resistant certified. Apple & iOS rules, we don't need to mimic any of those Korean & Taiwanese features. Somehow i felt when apple implement something new into the iphone, i tend to have more faith when using the feature like find my iphone , fingerprint etc. I dont even dare to try my ex Z2 in water eventhou its waterproof. Heard horrible stories when water got into the port sony blame it on customers didnt close the flap correctly Other manufacturers usually just put anything possible even its half baked and market it as new innovation but usually doesnt work well for end users. For Apple , when they mention the specific function in keynote , usually its just work. Thats something other brand lack off. But file management on iOS still sucks as it first came out thou. |

Every company want more and more sales and not only maintain current sales quantities for small portion die hard fans.Specification and functionally is the main key point to attract more users that know it can do better. iOS no longer lightweight since two years ago, it needs more RAM to maintain it stability & multitasking, higher processor for increase functionality apps, better hardware to gain better output because a smart user needs more and more. Still do-able for my budget.QUOTE(idoblu @ Sep 14 2016, 09:06 PM) im thinking of getting 32gb too, hope it is enough Ideally, I prefer 64GB as with my current i6s+. The 32GB seems "old" coz a lot of phones were selling with this storage spec 2 years back.im using iPhone 6+ now with 64gb. i used up about 21gb, still got 38gb available got about 500 songs, 75 apps, 700 photos, etc wonder for iphone 7+, what is the available memory right out of the box QUOTE(attw @ Sep 14 2016, 09:40 PM) Yes, upgrading almost every 12 months. I am never an iphone fan but I do keep up with all iphone series since the first iphone
I had tested all the iphone series till ip6s+ I will be selling off my 128gb ip6s+ when ip7+ reaches here I had tried using the ip6+ and ip6s+ solidly a month but its experience can never match my other Androids Basically its closed file system and terribly horrible file management system is a big deterrent to me using it as a daily working phone Even with latest ios 10 I am still unimpressed But being a smartphone enthusiast I will still be buying to test out the ip7+ (128gb) |

QUOTE(Ch3n_low @ Sep 15 2016, 10:58 AM) he means he wants open file system where he can copy all the pirated movies and music and apps and share it with friends etc la....The reason Apple file system is locked is because that is a loophole for piracy. imagine if apple allows everyone to copy mp3 and mp4 and avi or mkv movies and store and view on iphone, who will go and subscribe apple music or itunes store? |

It's closed so that it provides better control and security. That is why you don't have viruses or Trojans unless you jailbreak. Plus, Apple makes sure every app is properly checked before allowing it to be placed in App Store. By making the OS proprietary to iPhone, it also prevents other imitations from using iOS. |

As far as I know we didn't even know the battery capacities during launch. |
