Been having cravings for Japanese food; sushi / sashimi to be exact.
However, I dun want to patronize the ala carte eateries (e.g. Sushi King, Sakae, Zanmai) as I think it'd be more bang for the buck if I were to go for buffets.

Any suggestion for Japanese buffet around KL / Selangor area?

It'd also be nice if you could also elaborate on the reasons for suggesting the place (e.g. price, quality, freshness, ambivalence).

There used to be buffet at Tokyo Kitchen USJ, but I do not think it is available anymore...

I still go back to what used to be called Kampachi@Equatorial Bangi, now Kazumi@Hotel Bangi Putrajaya. Dinner buffet only on Saturday nights, RM80-90 per head, can't recall.

The sashimi is frequently good, occasionally awesome. The breadth of food is decent, but the best is that it's not as crowded as the ones in KL.

So does some 60% of restaurants nationwide. Question is, Tokyo Kitchen still does buffet? Went to the Citta Mall outlet but they said they stopped buffet.

Jalan PJU 5/2
Kota Damansara
Business hours: 11.30am – 2.30pm, 6pm – 10.30pm

They have a few branches. You can look it up on Google. A friend went and recommend it cuz they have free flow beer and sake (for dinner) and free flow beer (lunch). Price is between RM58++ for lunch and RM78++ for dinner. Hope this helps. smile.gif
