kedai kopi 33 for their sau pau the city bakery @ central plaza 1st floor, damn nice their sau pau, also when you're here, don forget to try out Tomyum @ Maggie's Cafe @ 2nd Floor, the best tomyum in town for me. And also the sotong tumbuk from the stalls @ entrance

as for the sang nyuk mian, definitely got difference...it might look the same but will taste a little different
dnt say with gaya street, even if compared to the jia siang at lintas already big difference, price also different
melanian is way cheaper compared to jia siang
the best tomyum is actually at kantin bakut but will be too far for TS, if TS go there thn might as well go tuaran eat tuaran mee
and singgah on the way to salut for the coconut jelly
another option for nasi kerabu is uncle garry @ damai

Lady bon bon's cheesecakes are also very gooding. At Lintas square.

Hi all, will be making a trip to KK next week, with plans to head to Kundasang and Kudat. Planning to rent a car for the 2 of us, but a bit undecided on what car to take.

Friends have advised us that it's better to go with a 4x4 as road conditions can be a bit poor. Don't know how updated that advice is tho..

Also read above that others here have driven up with a Bezza or Saga before, so wondering if a 4x4 is completely necessary? Price difference is quite substantial, but I don't want to get the cheaper option just for the sake of saving some money, but having a terrible experience during the drive.

What's your take on this guys? Thanks!

7.00-9.00pm - Dinner - Suang Tain Seafood Restaurant (Have coconut pudding and nearby satay) - 10 mins drive/20 mins walk from hotel

DAY 2 (SUN)

9.00-12.00pm - Breakfast at hotel + Gaya Street Sunday Market - 5 mins walk from hotel - Roughly how many hours usually spend here?

try the restaurant below ang's hotel. very gooding. no need to go to welcome seafood. it is.behind gaya street facing main road.

china tourist also started to go there already. need to go early to skip the queue.
