Planning on a roadtrip to KK on Oct with a female friend. Is it safe around KK and Kinabalu park / Crocker Park area? We plan to park the car somewhere and overnight in the car
*
should be safe. i went to KK driving from miri. Then proceed to sandakan and back to miri using the tuaran-keningau-tenom road. Just be careful driving because some of the road is under maintenance.

3 island ? Just go to the jetty. Got counter there and buy ticket. notworthy.gif

If you mean tour like. Banana boat, underwater walking, got people there on the island will approach you.
If you mean snorkeling, the boat staff will provide equipment for you.

Some more gonna be driving around you should go for good night's sleep - go for homestay options if you on budget.
