u have to go to the custom office in Kelana Jaya and get the form there (free). According to the offiecer anyone can bid. But you need to deposit 10% (bank draft only) of your bid so can qualify for the bidding.u can bid as much as u want provided that u hane the money

It's not like you can up the price if other ppl bid higher than u. You have to your submit your bidding. Example:

The minimum price for a 2000 BMW 318i is RM106K
So you need to offer more than that let say RM120K. You need to submit the bidding form + 12K deposit before 15 Feb

After that they will infrom you if you won the car. If you not they will return the deposit back to you.

It's only rm 10k deposit...
Example if 10% out of rm 50k..the deposit is rm 5k
If rm 160k...the deposit will be rm 10k...
It take the lowest between both...This is what i've been told

yup that is true. It also stated that even if you make the highest offer doesn't mean you are the winner.

No insider info = tough

Btw, even if you won, remember to spare some money for repair & change of parts.

Kastam Diraja only guarantees that the cars are not 'kereta cantum' - inspected & certified by PUSPAKOM.

Heard from my mechanic.
Few years back, a guy bought a Benz also from Kastam Tender.
But the car was locked & hood not open either for inspection.
When he went to collect the car, found out that the car had no gearbox.
Spent another RM10k for a recond gearbox.

If you won the bid, you need to pay in cash or can get loan?
