I decided against speaking up here when I first saw this post because I felt that it would be easier to sort things out with Elaine herself instead. I wouldn't have realized this post if it weren't for a friend of mine who so happen to have stumbled upon this thread. Fortunately, he had Elaine's number as well since he used to deal with her, and so I got it from him and decided to call her instead.

I've explained things to her, and vague as it might seem, I think that I have already explained what is needed to be. Indeed, the person that she was/is looking for is Joo Quen, a cousin of mine. And it is true that she is attending her maternal grandfather's funeral.

As to why and how she has had access to my accounts, I have already explained to Elaine and I do not see an explanation here as necessary.

Since I have given my word to Elaine, I would try to sort things out before it gets out of hand. I called JQ after talking to Elaine but she didn't pick up, which I had expected so since she is busy with issues at home. However, because I had agreed to sort things out for Elaine, I will ensure that a sum of RM50 is banked into Elaine's Maybank account by today. I do not doubt Elaine's reputation and credibility in this place, and for her to be downright rude when she was speaking to me furthermore proves that she isn't trying to stir up something non-existant but instead just wanting to settle an on-going problem. The sum of RM50 is more than the amount at dispute here, so I hope it would help cool things down until I can get hold of JQ and sort things out with her. For me, it's not the amount but rather the name that has been wrongly used and tainted.

And Elaine, good to know that you have received the RM50 that I had promised you. I've only managed to speak to Joo Quen for a short while because I called at the wrong time, and have been busy since then. I think the burial happens tomorrow, and she should be able to sort things out then. I'll let you know, thanks.

Hmm.. I can think of retorts, but I will refrain. I do not use this account anymore - JQ does, since she is using one of my laptops. It's okay, I doubt she will repeat this.

Elaine, I've not had the time to go to the bank, but I've managed to sort things out with JQ just a while ago and she has agreed to give me access to her Maybank Online Banking account. I don't know how it works here, but she'll tell me how to do it and give me the access codes later so I can proceed to transfer the remaining funds to your account hopefully by tonight.
